Air consumption

An essential part of blasting is the compressor. When a compressor delivers too little volume, the production is less and the abrasive consumption is more. A compressor can vary from a 220 volt compressor for small blasting work to a diesel compressor for large objects.

The air consumption depends on the diameter of the nozzle and the desired operating pressure. Below is a list of the compressed air consumption for the various nozzles available in the IBIX® system. As a compressed air specialist, we supply a complete range of compressors for your application. Do you already have a compressor? We will be happy to determine with you whether your current compressor is suitable for use with the IBIX® blasting unit.
